• The pair of Priya and Shruti faced defeat against Benyapa Aimsaard and
Nuntakarn Aimsaard (doubles) with a score of 11-21, 9-21, leveling the score to
2-2.
• 17-year-old Anmol Kharb secured victory for India by defeating Chochuwong
Pornpicha 21-14, 21-9, ensuring a 3-2 win for India.

In the semifinals of the championship, India defeated two-time champion Japan 3-2 on Saturday. In the other semifinal, Thailand defeated Indonesia 3-1.
India had defeated Hong Kong 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
The Indian women's team defeated Hong Kong 3-0 in the quarterfinals on Friday. The team entered the top 4 for the first time, securing a medal in the tournament for the first time in women's badminton history.
