Kohli
demanded an extended break from the BCCI.
According to media reports, the BCCI selection committee meeting was held on Friday evening. Kohli had already informed BCCI about his availability before this meeting. Jadeja
and Rahul make a comeback.

and Sarfaraz were retained in the team.
Rajat Patidar, who made his debut in the second test, has also successfully retained his place in the team. Sarfaraz Khan is also in the squad. With Shreyas and Kohli out of the series, either of these two might get a chance in the third test.
