Team India

There have been changes in Team India ahead of the fourth Test match against England, and now, with Rohit, who will take on this responsibility, is a big question.

Jasprit Bumrah was serving as the vice captain for Team India in the three Test matches against England, but now that he's resting, who will take on this responsibility is a significant question.

For the fourth Test match, the Indian team has once again made some changes, albeit minor ones, to the players who were previously in the team. However, this raises a significant question. Jasprit Bumrah has been given rest for the fourth test. He was appointed as the vice captain for all three matches, but now that he's out, no one has been appointed vice captain by the BCCI for the fourth Test. Therefore, the question arises as to who will be the vice captain alongside Rohit Sharma in the fourth match.

Jasprit Bumrah has been given rest for the fourth Test; he may make a comeback in the final match. Meanwhile, KL Rahul is out of another match; he's not fully fit yet. He might be seen playing in the last match of the series. Also, there's a change: Mukesh Kumar, who was already in the team but left to play Ranji Trophy, has rejoined the team. The squad announced by the BCCI for the fourth Test does not mention anyone as the vice captain.

Now, who will shoulder the responsibility of vice- captain?

Jasprit Bumrah was fulfilling the role of vice captain under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, although he didn't get much of a chance in the first three matches. The responsibility of vice- captain involves making strategies with the coach and captain off the field and providing support to the captain on the field if needed. If the captain temporarily leaves the field, the vice captain is responsible for captaining in their absence. Now, if something like this happens in the next match, then who will perform this duty?

Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin could take on this role.

Both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin are players who can take on this responsibility. Both have been captains for different teams in the IPL. Ravindra Jadeja has also captained Team India in the past. So, there is a possibility that if captain Rohit Sharma needs it, either of them could step up to support him. However, no one has been officially announced as vice captain by the BCCI in the squad.
